240 Love Dolls??

So, the other day I was looking at news online and I came across this article about a British man who owns 240 love dolls.  Holy smokes!  He is also happily married.  Turns out it started about 10 years ago when he bought a mannequin because he liked the way she looked, but then he ended up wanting something more realistic and life like, which is then when he discovered “love dolls” online.  He then bought a $4,000 love doll online that his wife actually helped him purchase…and that it seems, is when the “collecting” began.

When I read this my first action was a few chuckles, then I started thinking “Good Lords, who collects sex dolls…??”  and then I really got to thinking.  “Who am I to talk??”  At one point I had so many sex toys I actually gave close to 50 sterilizable ones away.  And I still have close to 100 sex toys.  No love dolls though LOL

I honestly ended up feeling really bad for my immediate reaction having been laughing.  I mean, who am I to judge, ya know?  I know for a fact that several of the sex toys I have I got simply for the fact of having it; of getting the last of a line, or even quite directly for the sake of collecting.  So I hardly had anything to stand on for that.

Sometimes I think it’s a good thing to have something like that to happen, because, at least for me, it can help a person come back down to reality a little bit; to realize that as awesome as each of us is, we are not perfect.  Along with that though, it kind of caused me to see that I do have a tendency to collect sex toys, because some of them are just damn cool!!  For me, currently I’m working on getting all of the Cal Exotics L’Amour dual stimulators. I currently have the Tripler and the Flutter. All I need now is the Thumper!

So, in the end I guess, this article about a British man who owns over 240 love dolls helped teach me to be a bit less judgmental; I seem to have my own sex toy collections!  Who’da thunk it?
